Qian Shen Shakya (Rhonda Martinez) wife, mother, daughter, and sister; Zen teacher and mentor. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Qian Shen Shakya, wife of Sad Monk – Yao Feng Shakya who died in 2016. Known by many as Rhonda Martinez, died December 22nd 2018, about two years after her husband. It is said she died of a broken heart.<\/em><\/p>\n

They lived their life together helping others. They lived according to this motto:<\/p>\n

We are all one! One family, one world, one love! ”

Both Scott and Rhonda were artists.\u00a0 The following poem and art work is a small glimpse into Rhonda’s work.<\/p>\n

So many roles I’ve Played<\/p>\n

Sailing through the cosmic sea,<\/p>\n

But I am not afraid<\/p>\n

Again the darkness swallows me<\/p>\n

So happy that I stayed<\/p>\n

The cycle spins eternally,<\/p>\n

Never will I fade,<\/p>\n

Because I know<\/p>\n

There’ll always be<\/p>\n

In everything,<\/p>\n

A part of me.<\/p>\n
