It\u00a0 needs to begin with who we <strong><em>think <\/em><\/strong>we are in order to\u00a0 relinquish \u201c<strong><em>who we think we are<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d It is not to be come anyone or somebody or anything. It is to\u00a0 leave all of it.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s rather startling, isn\u2019t it? And it requires practice\u00a0 to break out of the cocoon of habits and reactions\u00a0 that we have built. This pointer is quite sobering.<\/p>\n<p>It does not mean to let the dead rot on the side of\u00a0 the road or pack your bags for elsewhere. Spiritual\u00a0 practice is more sweeping than a geographical\u00a0 change of scenery or familial abandonment.
