The Only Goal in Life is to Find the Way to Awakening

Make every effort to cultivate fearlessness.

I know, it sounds like a BIG deal effort.

Well, it is a BIG deal effort.

YES!

The Only Goal in Life is to realize

“WHO AM I?”

Here is a simple description which may befuddle you at first reading.

YOU ARE THE BELOVED ONE.

I know, I know you do not know that YOU ARE THE BELOVED. The reason YOU do not know who you are is because you are caught and trapped in the conditioned world. You see, you keep thinking that this material realm is ever-lasting. And when you think it is ever-lasting you have a strong tendency to go after things. Stuff in the material realm and stuff in your head and stuff conjured up by your ego.

YEP! The mind, intellect & ego trap us into thinking, believing and accepting that these aspects of our existence are permanent. However, when we begin to awaken we start to gain an awareness of the reality that our mind, intellect & ego are transitory.

The nature of earthly existence is constantly changing. We humans are included in that nature. We constantly change. If we pick up a handful of sand it soon runs out through our fingers. Some of it may appear to be stuck to our skin – but it too eventually changes. We wash it off, brush it off, scrap it off, or blow it off.

We embodied beings identify ourselves as just that! Embodied by our breath, our thoughts, our wishes, our fears, our ideas, our concepts, our memory all appear to be OURS. We forget that all worldly things change. We need help to let go of these ephemeral attachments.

We need help to find our true nature.

  • We need the help because we are stuck in the conditioned, material realm which we call OUR LIFE. We identify as a so & so, a some body…which keeps us trapped cycling in the material realm.

Many of us need to STOP this identification enough to see our true reality. It requires effort. It requires letting go of our entanglements in the conditioned world. It requires our attention and willingness to seek the real SOURCE of our existence.

We need to decide whether or not we want to take that backward step and go beyond the world of conditions. We have to recognize the pain and suffering of living with a conditioned mind.

We have been taught to rely on the conditions of our conditioning. We identify with the conditions. We cherish and also complain about our conditioning.

This requires solitude, study and a strong willingness to discover our TRUE NATURE.
