If you hate or despise anything or anyone, YOU cannot cultivate morality, kindness, honesty or virtue.
Spiritual practices require an attitude that is ALL ACCEPTING of what comes into YOUR life as YOUR life. Furthermore, it requires constant spiritual practice. When we humans wander off the path we find ourselves in some type of ditch. Often we need help to get back up and continue in the light of all acceptance.
When we do not cultivate “all acceptance” we rely on the internal aspects of mind, intellect & ego. We begin to believe that it is just fine to divide & split our spirit into what we call GOOD and what we call BAD.
This is a dilemma. It is often a problem that is known as being stuck on the “horns of an ongoing dilemma.” It also tends to split our mind, intellect & ego leaving one foot on land and the other foot in muddy water. We get stuck between two choices thinking and believing that this split is just the way mankind operates. A little bit of this & a little bit that!
If we do not change this dilemma, we cannot and do not find the Truth of human existence. All we have done is put one foot in one world, the material realm and the other foot in what we call all acceptance.
The Truth of our existence dissipates. This split weakens our ability to know the TRUTH. It also is a waste to attempt to have your cake & eat it, too!
We fail time & time again to ignore the inevitable DEATH. DEATH is inevitable. When we fail to follow all acceptance we suffer from the traps of cause & effect.
Anytime we take a hard & fast position we risk falling into the conditioned, material realm. We may even think we have to fall into the material realm when someone we love or care for needs our help. This is not the case. We can continue to follow the teaching of all acceptance of what comes up in our life without complaint, anger, irritation or a superior mindset.
Humility is essential in seeking and following the path of our existence as a path of all acceptance. NONE of US are more important or better than another. We may think we are, we may praise ourselves, we may belittle others but to what end? The end of the human earthly condition is death.
REMEMBER
- Human and all life is precious.
- Death is inevitable.
- Following spiritual laws prevents the trap of karma.
- Suffering of body is inevitable especially when we form attachments of mind, intellect & ego.
